SharePoint Advanced (conducted in English) kursus

Kursusmål

The course is for you who are managing a SharePoint Portal or who you wants to learn how to perform administrative tasks across all the sites, thereby providing your users, and site administrators, with the best possible working tools. This not a training course in maintaining a SharePoint server, but a course in what options you have as a site collection administrator.

You'll also learn how to create new site collections and how to work across site collections - for instance how you create the same navigation items across the different site collections.

After this course you will be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Use and maintain predefined columns and library meta data
  • Read and create SharePoint usage reports
  • Create sets of various documents for use in libraries
  • Create general navigation definitions across site collections
  • Work with workflows in libraries and lists

Document handling and meta data

  • Special libraries
  • Introducing site content types
  • Working with document sets
  • Using record center and creating policies

Introduction to policy center and policies (2016)

The following will be covered:
  • Create policies for websites, libraries and lists

Managing the term store

The following will be covered:
  • Create a term set and create terms
  • Use a term set for navigation on websites

Editing SharePoint forms (2013)

The following will be covered:
  • Editing a SharePoint from with InfoPath

Work flows

The following will be covered:
  • Working with work flows
  • Introducing the SharePoint Designer

Audiences

The following will be covered:
  • Use audiences in web parts
  • Create targeted navigation with audiences

Business Intelligence with Excel Services
